Carbon steel float blades for the floating passes on walk-behind and ride-on power trowels. Order one blade per blade arm on your machine.

Float blades and regular trowel blades are used at different stages of finishing the same slab.

Float blades are used for the first pass, while the concrete is still fairly soft (usually just firm enough to walk on, leaving about a 1/4" footprint).

• Their job is to knock down ridges, fill low spots, embed the aggregate and bring paste to the surface, getting the slab flat and ready for troweling.
