M400 30HP Electric Front Pivot 4-Speed Merit Walk Behind Saw
Merit M400 30hp electric walk behind saw. Powerful mid-sized saw that is great for interior cutting where fumes can be problematic. Baldor 30hp motor delivers instant torque to a 4-speed blade transmission. Multi-speed transmissions on electric saws allow blade shaft speeds to be optimized for chosen blade size. Gas/Diesel powered saws have the ability to "throttle down" for blade shaft speed adjustments. With electric saws not having that option, a multi-speed transmission on your electric saw is a huge advantage. Front pivot design allows easy maneuverability. Locking / Unlocking differential aids in straight cuts and tight rotations. Optional quick disconnect blade mount allows user to easily disconnect blade from saw if a blade jam occurs. Optional raise-lower controls give user the choice of a variable speed for precision or a push button control for speed and simplicity.
