The 695GC series is a great combination of a high-power saw and economical low-cost replacement chains with the Force3 line. Compared to the 680ES chainsaw which has maximum cutting depth of 14” – this 695GC can handle up to 16”. Best recommended for general contractors and Pro Cutters looking for a powerful, deep cutting chainsaw. To identify what you currently have, Force3 runs on grey bars while Force4 runs on black. Very simple to convert 695GC to 695F4 with new F4 drive sprocket, F4 bar and chain.
Proper Chain Tension is very important. Rule of thumb is a diamond chain can be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand easily without binding. Proper chain tension should allow drive links to hang below bar. Click here for full ICS Chain Tension Tip Sheet.
