Husqvarna Soff-Cut® blade line is designed and tested to meet all aggregate conditions.  These patented diamond blades are color coded and feature a unique triangular shaped safety arbor that fits precisely on the saw’s arbor, ensuring no damage is done by imitators.  Husqvarna’s blades are designed to work specifically with the Soff-Cut® system, the only true patented Ultra Early Entry™ system.  A patented anti-ravel skid plate comes with every blade to allow for same day cutting without chipping or spalling.

The Husqvarna Excel 3000 Series Red is recommended for medium to hard aggregate, medium abrasive sand.

Soff-Cut information:

As the concrete hydrates and begins to set, it develops internal stresses.  The objective in controlling shrinkage cracking is to relieve these stresses before they seek their own relief in the form of a random crack.

Soff-Cut® has the unique Ultra Early Entry dry-cutting system, which controls random cracking by making the cut at an early stage.  The concrete can be cut within the first one or two hours of finishing and before final set.  By minimizing the risk of random cracking, this system simplifies the working process compared to conventional sawing.

Cutting in the Green Zone™ is the best guarantee for the prevention of random cracking.  It also allows for same day cutting as well as dry with dust control.  When cutting in the Green Zone™, more aggregate interlock is achieved and less joint filler is needed due to a shallower cut.
