AS170 Available Blades
General Purpose Blades: Used for general cutting of bricks (up to 50mpa), and mortar or general masonry cutting. Also used for cutting tree roots or wood in the ground. Fitted with resharpenable Tungsten Carbide teeth.
Plunge Blades: used for general cutting of bricks and mortar. Designed for cutting a single brick height (120mm). Fitted with resharpenable Tungsten Carbide teeth.
Switch Box Blades: fitted with resharpenable Tungsten Carbide teeth, this blade is designed for installing small electrical switch boxes into plaster, brick/masonry walls.
Tuckpointing Blades: fitted with resharpenable Tungsten Carbide teeth this blade is designed for removing the mortar between the bricks in restoration work (known as Tuckpointing).

Wood Blades: are used for cutting clean wood.
Max. cutting depth: 110mm
Cutting width: 6.5mm
Wood Jaw: an optional accessory, which can be added to the machine, to increase the cutting speed in timber by up to 3 times.
Only the Wood Blades may be used with the Wood Jaw. The general purpose blade is too wide, and will damage the tool & blades.
